ART IN A TIME OF PANDEMIC
In the winter of 2020, I was working to complete a body of work which included large screen prints, intaglio and collagraph. With lockdown and access to a print studio closed, I needed to find another way to work. Most of the imagery was subsequently created as papercuts. When it was possible to print again, many of the images were reinterpreted. Along the way, I brain stormed with Seattle based fabric artist, Frida Weisman, which gave life to a collaboration in garment creations under the label fridabe/banks
